Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cartly+ mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. User Content
The App lets you create and store content such as shopping lists, household items, and related text (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your User Content solely to operate and provide the App’s functionality.
You are responsible for your User Content and agree not to create or share illegal content or content that violates applicable laws. We may remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
3. Households and Sharing
If you invite others to a household, you acknowledge that household members may view and modify shared household content. You are responsible for managing invitations and access.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions (“Premium” / “Cartly+”). Payments are processed by the platform store you purchased from — Apple via In-App Purchases on iOS, or Google via Google Play Billing on Android. Subscription management (including entitlement status) is handled by our subscription provider RevenueCat.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- On iOS, you can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. On Android, manage them in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.
- Any refunds are subject to the applicable store’s refund policies and processes (Apple or Google).
- Free-tier users may see ads served by Google AdMob. Subscribing to Cartly+ removes ads and unlocks premium features as described in the App and on the paywall at the time of purchase.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App in violation of any law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App (including by introducing malware)
- Abuse the sharing features to harass or harm others
6. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the App.

10. Platform Terms
On iOS, these Terms operate alongside Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) referenced in App Store Connect. On Android, these Terms operate alongside the Google Play Terms of Service. These Terms apply to the extent permitted and are intended to be consistent with each platform’s requirements.
